Pharmaceutical LitigationOur office is actively pursuing manufacturers of drugs that cause sickness, cancer or even death. Currently our firm is handling cases involving:

XARELTO- Xarelto is a new blood thinner that was developed to reduce blood clots and has recently been found to have the severe side effect of uncontrolled internal bleeding. When bleeding occurs near a major organ, such as the brain, lungs or kidneys, blood flow to that organ is interrupted, causing it to lose some or all of its functionality. If you or a loved one has experienced internal bleeding while using Xarelto, call the Kitsinian Law Firm for a consultation at 888.480.5858.

ACTOS – A widely prescribed prescription drug for the treatment of type-2 diabetes. Studies have shown that a prolonged treatment with Actos causes bladder cancer in some patients.

actosDespite early findings linking Actos to malignant tumors in the bladders of rats, and despite the fact that the drug has already been removed from the marketplace in several European countries, Actos is still sold in the U.S. The drug has caught the attention of the FDA, which ran its own ten year study which showed that the drug caused a 40% increase in risk of bladder cancer for its users. Similarly, a Canadian study found the the use of Actos for more than two years doubles a person’s risk of bladder cancer.

If you are an Actos user who was diagnosed with bladder cancer, call Kitsinian Law today for a free consultation.

GRANUFLO / Naturalyte - A widely used additive to dialysis treatments. Studies have shown a propensity of heart attacks and death caused by GranuFlo or Naturalyte in some patients who were never predisposed to cardiac arrest.

Fresenius Medical Care failed to warn doctors that the product contains more of an ingredient that the body converts to bicarbonate compared to similar products. An overdose of bicarbonate can lead to sudden cardiac arrest. An internal memo leak revealed that Fresenius alerted its own doctors to the risk, but not outside clinics.

warning-signs-of-cardiac-arrestFresenius Medical Care has begun a Class 1 recall (the most serious type of recall), so time is limited to file an action.

If you are a dialysis patient and have experienced a heart attack, contact the Kitsinian Law Firm for a free consultation.
